“Well, since Peter’s been really busy with the mermaids and the Lost Boys, I’ve been flying to and from the Mainland!” she explained. “Some of the Mainlanders are actually really nice.”
Terence smiled at Tinker Bell. He knew how much Tink enjoyed the mainland. “I was just over there, actually! I met this really nice mainlander. Her name’s Jasmine! She seemed really interested in us fairies, too. You might like her!”
“Dust-Talent fairy…” Jasmine smiles kindly at him. ”That sounds like a very important job. But what exactly to Tinkers do? And do fairies live in the desert as well? It is such a harsh climate.”
He smiled proudly. “It sure is the most important. Why, without me, none of us would be able to fly! But don’t tell Tink that, because she gets a bit jealous.” He let out a laugh. “Tinkers fix things and make things for the other talents to use. Their pretty important too! Why, my best friend is a tinker, do you know Tinker Bell?” He smiled again. “No, we don’t live in the desert. We’re from Pixie Hollow, in Neverland.”
“Well then, it is an honour to be in the presence of such an important member of the fairy community.” She gives him a little bow. “No, I do not believe that I had the pleasure of meeting Tinker Bell. You are the first fairy I’ve ever seen or met you see. I apologise in advance for bombarding you with questions, but it is just all so new and exciting to me.”
Jasmine makes herself comfortable and indicates to Terence to do the same. “I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of Neverland perse, but I have heard a rumour or two about Pixie Hollow and that the fairies live there. Is it beautiful? I always imagined it to be rich in colour and vivid with excitement.”
Terence felt very proud for a moment. Often people underestimated the importance of the dust-talents. “Oh I don’t mind all the questions at all! They’re actually a lot of fun to answer.” He smiled.
He landed on her shoulder, hoping she wouldn’t mind it. “It’s gorgeous! I’d take you there, but you might just step on everyone. And the fairies don’t take kindly to mainlanders, preferably because a lot of them don’t believe.”

“Uhh…” she laughed a bit. “Define trouble. Because if you mean getting into trouble with the other fairies or Fairy Mary, then nope! No trouble at all!”
Terence put his fists to his hips and laughed. “Tink!” He didn’t believe her one bit, but he knew that if he argued with her, then he’d be in a lot of trouble! “So where’ve ya been then?”
Hello there :)
Terence slowly flew up to the mainlander, being as cautious as he could for he hadn’t any idea whether she was evil. “H-hi!” He waved his hand.
“Well, he is my best friend,” she replied, then quickly tried to correct herself. “I mean, besides you of course! No one even comes close to you!” she said with a nervous laugh.
Terence narrowed his eyes at her, but then smiled. “I know, I know.” He laughed as he playfully nudged her in the arm with his elbow. “What have you been up to? I haven’t seen you around in a while. Stayin’ out of trouble, I hope?”

Jasmine blinks surprised. A fairy! A real honest to true fairy! Oh how exciting. “Yes, I understand you quite well. Goodness, what a pleasant surprise. How do you do? I am Jasmine.” She gently holds out her finger for him to shake.
Terence smiled. Tink was right! This mainlander was very nice! “Hiya, Jasmine! It’s nice to meet you.” He grabbed a hold of her finger and shook it. “My name’s Terence, and I’m quite alright. Been busy though.” He laughed a bit nervously. “How about yourself?”
“Oh you know, plotting against evil, ruling a country and seducing my fiance - busy.” Jasmine teases lightly. “Terence, that is a very nice name. Don’t think I’ve ever heard of it before. Is is unique to your kind? And if I may be so bold as to ask, what exactly do fairies do? Are the stories about them caring for nature true?”
Terence’s eyes grew wide. Plotting against evil? Ruling a country? Seducing her fiance? He had no idea what that last one meant, but he wasn’t really sure he wanted to know. He then snapped out of it when she started asking him questions. “Uh, well I’m the only Terence I know! So, I guess so?” He smiled nervously again. “What do we do? Huh-well we do lots of stuff! I’m a Dust-Talent fairy myself. I help with the distribution of Pixie Dust to all the fairies. There are other types to, like Animal-Talent, Water-Talent, Garden-Talent, and Tinkers!” He took a deep breath since he’d been talking for so long. “And it sure is! We help the mainland change for every season.” He smiled proudly.
